Our showroom and training centre in London is open by appointment, and our own applicators install across Surrey, so one team can look after the plaster, the relief and the gilt in the same house. Surrey asks for a lot of different skills. Market towns such as Farnham, Guildford and Godalming have Georgian and older houses, many in conservation areas. Period rooms often want cornice and coving repaired or added, breathable lime on solid walls and a quiet palette. Flat modern walls in extensions and apartments take polished plaster or concrete effect well. Where a client wants something to remember, there are murals, gilding and lacquered walls. We supply samples and finish details for specifications and plan the work around other trades. Colour matching works from real samples for plaster and from scaled drawings for murals, relief and mosaics, and nothing starts until you have approved them. Designers and architects can start on the specify page, and main contractors and builders can ask about a trade account. We also plan fit outs for restaurants, hotels, offices and retail around your programme.
Listed and period buildings need particular care, so tell us early what the building is and what is on the walls.
We survey first. That means the walls, ceilings and floors, how the room is used, access, protection and the condition of what is there. Small questions can often be answered from photos. We tell you honestly what will work, and if a wall needs skimming or a damp problem fixing first.
Next comes the sample, which we agree before any work. Plaster is tinted to your colour before it leaves Birmingham, in 48 house colours or any NCS reference. Larger jobs are planned in blocks of days, so the team stays on the job and lays each coat in order. If several crafts are involved, we survey and price them together. If you have your own decorator, the shop sells the plasters, waxes, primers and tools with tracked delivery across the UK. We also run Venetian plaster courses in London, Birmingham and Manchester, so a decorator can add a finish to what they offer. Details are on the training page.

We approach older and heritage buildings with care for what is already there. Tell us about the property early. Any consents the building needs are for the owner and the local planning authority to confirm.
Yes, and many schemes do. A polished hall, limewashed bedrooms and a tadelakt bathroom suit the same house. We survey and price them together.
