A feature wall is the one surface people remember in a room. Zavoré designs and makes bespoke feature walls in every material we work with, from polished Venetian plaster and liquid metal to sculpted bas relief, sculptural plaster, hand painted murals and mosaic, all under one roof.
Polished plaster and marmorino in real Italian lime, machine tinted to any colour, with the depth of stone.

Living rooms. A polished plaster or liquid metal wall behind the sofa, or a fluted sculptural plaster wall behind the television. Bedrooms. A sculpted bas relief or hand painted chinoiserie behind the bed in place of a headboard. Hallways and stairs. Panel mouldings with limewash, or a mural that runs up the stairwell. Bathrooms. Tadelakt, microcement or mosaic, finishes that are made for water. Restaurants, bars, hotels and receptions. Lit bas relief, branded sculptural plaster, metallic walls and murals that give a space its own identity.
Most feature walls need more than one trade. A panelled wall needs mouldings and a finish, a sculpted wall needs sculpting and colour, a hotel lobby might need all of it. We design and install every part ourselves, so the cornice, the relief and the plaster are planned together and finished to the same standard.
It depends on the size of the wall and the finish, from limewash at one end to sculpted and lit bas relief at the other. Send us a photo and the measurements and we will suggest options at different budgets.
It depends on the light, how the room is used and the look you want. Tell us about the space and we will recommend two or three finishes and send samples.
