Three days on the trowel with working applicators. The beginner Venetian plaster course takes you from bare wall to burnished finish, on your own boards, corrected pass by pass.

What you learn

• The theory: what lime plaster is, how it cures and why it behaves as it does
• Surface preparation and the base coat, the part every finish depends on
• Textures: building them, controlling them and keeping them even across a wall
• Coat systems and protection, so a finish lasts
• Marmorino, Polished Plaster and Metallics, from bucket to burnish

What is included

• Three studio days, 10am to 5pm · Birmingham
• Maximum 6 students: your purchase reserves your bench
• All materials: authentic Italian plasters, primers, waxes, trowels and boards
• Lunch and refreshments every day
• Your finished sample boards leave with you

No experience is needed. Dates are matched with you after booking. Booking online takes the full fee and your bench is yours. Rather pay in two halves? Ring 07592 929191 and we take half as a deposit, with the balance due on the first morning. Deposits are not refundable, but with 14 days notice your booking moves to another date, or to another person, with every pound you have paid.
