Zavoré offers Venetian plastering in Perth for town houses, villas and country houses across Perthshire. We supply and install authentic Italian lime based Venetian plaster. Our own applicators travel from Birmingham, and your plaster is tinted to the colour on the approved sample before it leaves our Birmingham base. Perth is a long way north, so we plan installations as a run of consecutive days. The applicators stay with the job and complete each coat in order.
Perth is known as the Fair City, and it sits on the River Tay with two great public parks, the North Inch and the South Inch, either side of the centre. Around those parks stand some of its best Georgian terraces. Marshall Place, facing the South Inch, and Rose Terrace, near the North Inch, have tall sandstone fronts, high ceilings and fine proportions inside. Their rooms often still have cornices and generous windows.
Victorian villas fill the streets on both sides of the Tay, including those below Kinnoull Hill and along the roads out towards Dundee and Glasgow. St John’s Kirk and the old streets of the centre show how far back the town goes, and Scone Palace, a short way outside, ties Perth to the history of Scottish kings. Newer housing estates spread on the edge of the city.
Perthshire beyond the city has farmhouses, sporting lodges, estate cottages and country houses, with thick stone walls and plaster that may have been patched over generations. Old stone and lime need a breathable finish. A modern estate house is different and needs the correct preparation for plasterboard. Our survey tells us which.
Photos come first, followed by a survey when needed. We check the substrate, flatness, cracks, damp and movement, how the room is used and how we get in and protect floors. If a wall needs skimming, stripping or damp dealt with, we say so plainly before pricing.
Once the sample and price are approved, we agree dates. The colour is tinted in Birmingham, from 48 house colours or any NCS reference. Georgian terraces have limited street parking, and country houses may have long drives and outbuildings, so tell us what to expect. Perthshire winters are cold, and cold rooms dry slowly, so we talk through heating for the weeks of the work.

If an estate or builder will apply the finish, we send tinted plaster, base coats and wax with tracked delivery. Courses are held in Birmingham. See every area we cover.

Marmorino is a strong option, because it is lime based and breathable, and it suits tall rooms. Ceiling cornice repairs can be planned alongside.

Yes. Damp, cracks and movement are part of our survey, and we tell you plainly if any repair is needed before a decorative finish.
