Limewash of quiet depth and soft, natural movement, applied by hand by our own artisans. We work with architects, interior designers, main contractors and private clients on residential and commercial projects across the UK, from period and heritage properties to hotels and contemporary interiors.

Limewash gives a room a soft, layered depth that paint cannot imitate, a refined matt surface that shifts gently with the light through the day.
Equally at home in a listed country house or a contemporary interior, it brings an understated elegance to every space it touches. Each project is applied by hand by our own artisans and finished to the standard your address deserves.
Start Your Project
Limewash brings a soft, natural depth to older homes, applied by hand to suit the character and history of each room.

A calm, crafted backdrop for spaces where guests linger, delivered alongside your designer and main contractor.

Grand entrances and tall stairwells given quiet movement and texture, from the floor to the ceiling.
Tell us about your project, the property and where it is. We will arrange a visit and return with a considered recommendation and a clear quotation.
For private residences, from period country houses to contemporary city homes, we work directly with homeowners or alongside your architect and interior designer to deliver a finish of real character.
For hotels, restaurants, retail and workplace interiors, we partner with designers, main contractors and developers, planning the work around your programme, including fit outs ahead of opening.

Limewash marks and is not washable, so a splashback wants a closed surface.
For a shower or a bathroom splash zone we would steer you to tadelakt or microcement.
Lime has nothing to grip on a film and dusts off, unless the wall is stripped first.
If you want an even colour with no movement in it, emulsion is the answer. Limewash always moves.
Every limewash project is applied by our own team, so the quality you approve is the quality you receive.
Colour and finish are agreed with you on a sample before any work starts.
