Trowel work is corrected hand over hand or it is not corrected at all. In a class of fifteen you will watch a demonstration; in a small class you will be caught mid-mistake, which is where the learning happens. Every Zavoré course is capped at six benches, so our tutors can focus on giving each student the very best of their craft. Whatever course you choose, ask for the number.
There are trainers who teach because they no longer install, and applicators who teach because they love the craft they still practise. You want the second kind: tutors whose habits were formed on real walls for real clients, who can tell you what a finish does in a bathroom in February, not just in a brochure.
Materials, tools, boards you keep, lunch, and what happens after the last day. A certificate is paper; aftercare is worth money.
